24.10.2024 Peer Action Against Hate - online conference

Hate speech and hate crime have been growing at an alarming rate in recent years in the EU. The Peer Action Against project has been aiming to strengthen the capacity of authorities and civil society to combat hate via peer learning.

As part of the Peer Action Against Hate project, Seta organises an online conference on 24 October at 10:00 am – 4:00pm EET (Helsinki time).
At the conference, insights of the project will be shared and discussed. Moreover, future needs and outlooks: Good practices in dealing with online hate incidents will be explored with an expert panel representing CSOs from different EU member states.

The project is co-funded by the European Union. The project is led by the Finnish Ministry of Justice. The project partners of the Ministry of Justice are the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, Seta – LGBTI Rights in Finland, the Centre for Peace Studies (Zagreb, Croatia) and the Irish Network Against Racism (INAR)
